The 2008 General Election Schedule:

  • October 3, Friday: Last day for voters who move to new addresses in Kansas to change their address on their voter registration. This is the last day also for new voters to register for this election.

  • October 31, Friday: Deadline for voters to apply for advance voting ballots to be mailed for the upcoming general election.

  • November 3, Monday: Noon deadline to vote regular advance voting ballots in
person in the County Clerk's office.

  • November 4, Tuesday, General Election: Polls are open! Advance voting ballots must be returned by close of polls.

If you would like to know where you are supposed to vote on Aug 5th, see the list of Ellis County Polling Locations here.

To find out online if where to vote on Election Day, you can also go to Kansas VoterView. At Kansas VoterView, just type in your full legal name and current address. It will give you your polling place for Election Day.

For a list of advance voting locations and how to vote prior to Election Day, see our page about other ways to vote.

If you want more help figuring out where to vote, or if you don't know your precinct, please drop me an email or call me at 785-735-VOTE (8683). Just leave me your name, address and return phone number. I will call you back with your precinct and voting location.
