In fact, what insecure type of voting cannot even be counted by human beings if there's a discrepancy or a citizen call for a re-count? From one person's house on the west edge of Hays, west of the Alternate, it is 1.87 miles to Episcopal Church, 2.0 miles to Country Club, 2.65 miles to the Ellis County Meeting Room, 3.57 miles to Sternberg, 4.25 miles to the VFW, 4.99 miles to the American Legion, and 7.55 miles to St. Nicholas Church. Which of these polling places did the current, incumbent County Clerk pick as the polling location for the voters that live west of Hays? Did she pick the location that was the farthest away at 7.55 miles, or did she select the location that was closest at just 1.87 miles from those citizens' homes? The closest place     The farthest place   On the current Ellis County Clerk's website (that site now managed by the current, incumbent Clerk), is there a list of polling locations that's easily found by voters so that Ellis County residents are able to quickly figure out where to vote? (Note: this question has four possible correct answers, so, just pick any one of the four correct answers and you'll get this one right!) The current Clerk's website list is very convenient, helpful and easy to find. If the current, incumbent Clerk has a list on the Clerk's website, it's hidden       pretty good because I never found any kind of list of polling locations. Yes, I think I once found a list of polling places at the current Clerk's website,        but, it was so very hard to find, and then after I found it, I lost it again! Beats me. I've never gotten any useful information from the current Clerk's       website. I'm so eager to elect Dottie Staab and to get Dottie Staab in there.       I know Dottie will make things more "user friendly" for people like me. What? The current Clerk has a website? Are you sure? Since when?   On Dottie Staab's website, is there a list of polling places in Ellis County? No! Dottie wants to be just like the current, incumbent Clerk and make it hard       for the good people in Ellis County to vote. Yes, absolutely! Dottie has a great list of polling places on this website! Plus,       she has links to let you check if you are actually registered to vote, links       to fill out voter registration forms, and a lot of very helpful information! (hint) That's it! In addition to receiving prizes, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will also be invited to participate as regular members of my new Voter Advisory Committee. The Ellis County Voter Advisory Committee will be a new citizen-powered grassroots group that will give me input directly. I will count on members of the Advisory Committee to provide me with ideas on how to increase voter participation and improve elections in Ellis County. This is one of the many ways I will improve the community services offered by the County Clerk's office.

Also, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will also be invited to join me for an Election Night Party. You don't need to be present on the day of the actual drawing in order for your entry to be included in the drawing.
